New Great Depression in 2012
According to CNN, almost 50 percent of Americans worry that the US is likely to slip into another Great Depression within the next twelve months. The Guardian postulates that America is in an advanced state of cultural decadence and that it can be compared now with Rome prior to its fall. While the US is facing higher annual interest rates on the huge national debt of 14.34 trillion dollars, it provides hundreds of millions of dollars of foreign aid to some of the world's richest countries, while at the same time borrowing billions back from them. What IS going on in our nation, and WHY?
