Mr. Obama's Mysterious Birthplace
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs reiterated this week that proof for President Obama's birthplace in Hawaii "had been posted online," but some contend that the posted abbreviated "Certification of Live Birth" does not provide such proof, as "a child does not even have to be born in Hawaii to receive such a COLB." In light of persistent rumors and affidavits alleging that Mr. Obama was born in Kenya, they demand the release of his "long-form, hospital generated birth certificate" to fulfill the requirements of the US Constitution and the Immigration Law in effect in 1961, that only a natural-born American citizen can serve as American President.
